Oddisee and Trek Life are back on tour! (12th-21st March 2009)

It’s been a year since their crazy adventures across Europe in spring 2008, and due to popular demand they’re returning.  This time they’re promoting their recent release New Money - the hotly anticipated collaboration project every blog has been talking about (Okay Player, 2Dope Boyz, Rappers I Know, BlackNBling, Fresh Selects etc). It started out as a project between the friends after their last European tour - Oddisee decided to remix Trek’s album Price I’ve Paid, the idea was immediately snapped up & released in Japan as All Times, and reworked again for the US as New Money. The boys are now bringing this album and a whole host of new music with them to Europe, after an insanely busy year for both of them.

As seasoned, passionate & experienced performers, Oddisee & Trek Life really know what goes in to putting together a classic hip hop show. These multi-talented artists put everything in to their sets, taking turns dj’ing, mc’ing, hosting and even making beats live on stage! Audiences never resist the energy they send out in to the crowd, and the guys love nothing more than a sea of ecstatic faces jumping up and down, rapping their lyrics back to them (even though the crowd might not speak much English!)

One thing Oddisee and Trek really hope to repeat on this tour is to carry on making real connections with their European fans and supporters. Last year they received so much love and had a great time experiencing other cultures, food and languages, building lasting friendships with so many they just can’t wait to come back out!
